You can help us get into a new facility....
The need: We have 600 square feet now for clients, 5 staff, 3 independent contractors, 300+ pieces of equipment and visitors. We're bursting at the seams!
The vision: Acquire a facility in a central location that we can remodel to show how a house can be made accessible for people with disabilities. It will also serve as our office and have a room for training staff and clients.
Can you see a place that gives people with disabilities a visual idea of what their home can be like. Imagine a roll in shower, accessble toilets, flashing lights when people come in (so deaf can see we have visitors), a strip on the floor with bumps on it so blind know where it's safe to walk. You can help in other ways as well. We need laborers to assist with remodeling, buildilng materials, and some office furniture. If you can help, contact us now.
