Kern Assistive Technology Center maintains the highest level of fiduciary accountability in order to achieve our mission while maintaining the public trust. To this end, KATC submits to a voluntary annual audit completed by an outside CPA and has developed procedures and policies to protect against the misuse of funds it manages. We file annual tax reports with the IRS and the State Franchise Tax Board. KATC is a 501 c-3 non profit organization according to the IRS.
