“Kern Assistive Technology Center maintains the highest level of fiduciary accountability in order to achieve it’s mission while maintaining the public trust. To this end, KATC submits to a voluntary annual audit completed by an outside CPA and has developed procedures and policies to protect against the misuse of funds it manages. We file annual tax reports with the IRS and the State Franchise Tax Board. KATC is a 501 c-3 non profit organization according to the IRS.”

The
Kern Assistive Technology Center is a growing organization that is
learning how to better meet the needs of the people we serve. In fiscal
year 07-08 we served more than 100 people in our equipment loan
library, hundreds of people walked through our door for information and
referral, and many more were served through our various programs and
services.
You can make a difference in the life of a person with a disability by supporting us today.
We
are currently looking for clerical talent to assist us in maintaing
order with our files and loan library. We are also seeking a skilled
carpetner/handyman to assist us in completing a remodel project. Email: aaron@kernatcenter.org if interested in either.
